StoryFarm, Our Sister Project
StoryFarm is a creative nonfiction cooperative for writers, thinkers, and other interesting animals. Based in San Francisco, StoryFarm celebrates the power of the written word.
San Francisco’s literary scene is thriving, with a bountiful supply of talented writers, reading series, and writing organizations; however, there is no one association devoted specifically to creative nonfiction. StoryFarm is unique in that it provides creative nonfiction writers and enthusiasts a community where they can come together, cultivate relationships, and learn and grow in an exciting and collaborative way.
Through literary readings, writing salons, and workshops, as well as social events, StoryFarm’s goal is to provide an opportunity for people to engage with the creative nonfiction genre in a way that is currently not available in the Bay Area.
StoryFarm is co-founded and co-directed by Graham Gremore and Peg Alford Pursell, and is a member of the Incubator Program at Intersection for the Arts in San Francisco, a leading-edge arts and community development organization that connects people and communities across physical, social, cultural, and economic boundaries to instigate change.
